Mohit Mittal of De Paul College, Mysuru, has bagged the first prize in the Code Vita event held as part of the two-day State-level Inter-Collegiate IT Fest by the Department of Computer Science, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post Graduate Centre in city recently.

Ramaa Subiah, Professor of Education and Dean of Instruction, Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysuru, presented a research paper titled “Validated Remedial Instruction Programmes for Children with Specific Learning Disabilities” at the First International Congress of the World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (WAPR) at Abu Dhabi recently.  

First B.Com students (B, C and D Section) of SBRR Mahajana College, Mysuru, have adopted Cockatiel, Finch and Budgerigar at Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysore Zoo) by paying Rs.3,000 for a period of one year from 22.9.2017 to 21.9.2018, under animal adoption scheme.  

City’s renowned Diabetologist and Rajyotsava awardee Dr. V. Lakshminarayan left for the US today on a one-month tour to take part in an international meet. Dr. Lakshminarayan, who is the founder of Sri Hari Diabetic Centre, Kuvempunagar in city, will also deliver lectures in the US.
