V.N. Nanjundaswamy (64), a resident of Varuna in the taluk and priest of Chamundeshwari Temple, Vidyanagar in city, passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife,  son Varuna Prashanth, District Youth JD(S) Vice-President, a  daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Varuna this afternoon, according to family sources.
