The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has convened a Special Council Meeting at the MCC’s Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar auditorium on Mar.8 at 4 pm.  Members have been asked to attend the meeting on time, according to a press release from the MCC Council Secretary.

As part of Sri Raghavendraswamy Pattabhisheka and Vardhanti, Sri Raghavendraswamy Seva Samiti has organised Sri Venkatesha Ashtakshara Mahamantra Yaga (Lakshahuti) and Mrutyunjaya Homa, Navagraha Homa, Srinivasa Kalyanotsava and Sri Raghavendra Ashtakshara Mahamantra Homa at the Mutt premises in Jayalakshmipuram from Mar.8 to 13.  Every day rituals will begin at 6.30 am.

Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre has organised a Mega Diabetes and Cardiology screening camp – 2018 on the eve of its second anniversary celebrations. The mega camp will conduct free check-ups for diabetes, cardiac patients and also for general public on Mar.10 at the Centre premises, Gokulam Road, V.V. Mohalla.

Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama will be conducting a retreat for foreigners who are yoga aspirants at the Ashrama premises in Yadavagiri on Mar.10 at 9.30 am. Swami Muktirupanandaji, former President, Ramakrishna Mission, Singapore, will give a discourse on yoga.

There will be no monthly meeting of Central Government Pensioners’ Association (CGPA), Mysuru, scheduled for Mar.13 (Wednesday), according to Association President Dr. T.S. Sathyanarayana Rao.

The Administrative Training Institute (ATI) will auction old and worn-out spare parts of various vehicles at its premises at 12 noon on Mar.14. Bus Tyres, Tyres and Batteries of TT, WagonR and Bolero vehicles and other spare parts will be up for public auction.
