Shambhulingegowda (86), retired Assistant Registrar at University of Mysore and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away on Dec. 31 in city. He leaves behind his wife, three daughters, a son and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed on the same day (Dec.31).

Madiwalara Puttamadamma (80), a resident of Marballi village in the taluk, passed away on                      Tuesday. She leaves behind three sons including Sannaswamy, Treasurer of Taluk Madiwalara Sangha, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the farm of her son Sannaswamy yesterday, according to family sources.
