Malamma Kunnegowda (90), a resident of Banchalli Hundi village of Chikkaiahnachatra hobli in Nanjangud taluk, passed away in the village. She leaves behind three sons including Marigowda, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the village burial grounds.

A native of Haradanahalli village in Chamarajanagar taluk, she leaves behind two sons, daughters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar, according to family sources.
