T. Rashmi has been awarded Ph.D in Computer Science by the University of Mysore (UoM), Mysuru, for her thesis ‘Sentence Based Approach for Sentiment Analysis in Kannada’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. M.N. Veena.

The city-based Hoysala Karnataka Sangha Director S. Ranganath has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of Bengaluru-based Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha. The appointment has been made by the Mahasabha State President S. Raghunath.
