21 workers rescued from bonded labour

Mysore/Mysuru: Revenue Department officials have rescued 21 workers from bonded labour in H.D. Kote and Saragur Police limits and have registered cases against the owners.

Out of the total 21 workers, four were rescued in H.D. Kote and 17 workers were rescued in Saragur Police limits.

Cases have been registered against Ningaraju and Basavanayaka of Itna village, Palaksha Aradhya of Beemanahalli village and Somaiah of Savve village at H.D. Kote Police Station and against Kalegowda and J.K. Manjunath of Hegganur village, Koosegowda of Bidarahalli village, Nandakumar, Satishkumar, Satish Gowdappa, Vinodkumar and Mahadevaiah of Hirehalli village, Chikkaswamappa of Bankavadi village, Basavarajappa of Badaga village, Dandaraju of Kottegala, Puttanagappa, Nanjundaswamy and Nagappa of Kallambalu village and Shivamallappa of Mullur village at Saragur Police Station.
