2,105 street vendors vaccinated

Mysore/Mysuru: As many as 2,105 roadside vendors were vaccinated at a special vaccination drive organised by MCC here on Monday.

The street vendors have been recognised in priority group and instructions were given for inoculating them as they come in contact with the general public. Based on the orders from the State Government, MCC Commissioner G. Lakshmikantha Reddy had ordered holding a special drive for them at four Assembly Constituencies between 10 am and 5 pm. Accordingly, 2,105 street vendors got vaccinated on Monday. While vendors of KR Constituency were vaccinated at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Community Hall near Sterling Talkies, vendors of Chamaraja, NR and Chamundeshwari Constituencies received jabs at Town Hall, Jabbar Function Hall on Mahadevapura Road and at Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Park respectively.
