Mysore/Mysuru: The 21st Annual Convocation of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, has been scheduled to be held in January 2026. According to a press release from the Registrar (Evaluation), KSOU, the candidates who got admitted for BA, B.Com, in the academic year (January cycle) 2021-22 and passed within September 2025 examination, are eligible to apply.
So also, the candidates who got admitted to MA (Non CBCS) Urdu, Sanskrit, Public Administration, Journalism and Mass Communication, in the academic year (July cycle) 2022-23 and passed within September 2025, are eligible for the Convocation.
Candidates who got admitted to all MA, M.Com, MBA, M.Sc (CBCS) programmes and MA (Non CBCS) programmes — Urdu, Sanskrit, Public Administration, Journalism and Mass Communication and B. Ed programmes in academic year (January cycle) 2022-23 & passed within September 2025 exam, are also eligible.
Candidates who have admitted to M.Lib I.Sc, B.Lib I.Sc and PG Diploma programmes in academic year 2023-24 (January cycle) and completed within September 2025 examination, can also apply.
The degrees can be obtained either in person or in absentia, by applying in prescribed format through online mode only on www.ksoumysuru.ac.in
The fees for gold medallists, cash prize winners, PG candidates with outstanding, first class, exemplary, first class distinction and Ph.D awardees is Rs. 1,350. For obtaining degree certificate in absentia, UG and PG degree and Ph.D awardees, should pay Rs. 1,700.
The last date for payment of fees in person only, without fine is Dec. 15 and with fine of Rs. 100 is Dec. 20, the press release added.
