Mysuru: The Revenue Department, which had invited applications for filling up 105 vacant posts of Village Accountant (VA) in the district, received a whopping 27,000 applications.

The Department, after scrutinising the applications, found only 13,887 of them correct in all respects. Following the scrutiny of applications, the District Administration has began the selection process after classifying the applications based on merit, category and roster.
