Mysuru: Mysuru Veerashaiva Sajjana Sangha has organised the 28th Annual Kite Flying Competition at the grounds opposite Uttanahalli Maramma Temple on Ring Road tomorrow (Aug. 2). Those interested to participate in the competition may register their names between 1 pm and 1.30 pm. The competition will be held from 2 pm. Prize distribution will be held at 4 pm.

Competition will be held in the following categories: Attractive Kites (Swadeshi and Videshi), Big Kites and Kites Soaring High.

Three prizes will be given in all the four categories and the contestant who will win more prizes will be awarded an attractive rolling trophy.

There will also be entertainment programmes open to public on the occasion.

Payana Integrations Managing Partner M. Prajwal Prasad and Vidu. M. Madhura will be the chief guests. Mysuru Veerashaiva Sajjana Sangha President M.T. Mallikarjun will preside over the event.
