The Karnataka men and women Kho-Kho teams emerged winners in the 29th South Zone Senior National Kho-Kho Championships-2018 held at Mahabubnagar, Telangana, from Sept.28 to 30.

In the men’s section, Karnataka beat Kerala 13-12 (by one point) to clinch the title, while in the women’s section, Karnataka once again beat Kerala 9-8 to clinch the title.

While K.M. Gowtham was adjudged ‘The Best All-rounder’ in the men’s section, M. Veena was chosen as ‘The Best All-rounder’ and L. Monika was chosen as ‘The Best Chaser’ in the women’s category.
