Mysore/Mysuru: The three-day Aushad Vigyan Student Scientific Conference (AVISCON-2024), a student driven and student centric conference, organised by JSS College of Pharmacy, will be held at Sri Rajendra Auditorium in the College premises in city from tomorrow (Feb. 29).

Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Conference Chairperson Atiqulla Shariff said that the conference will be formally inaugurated on Mar. 1 at 11 am which will be presided by JSS College of Pharmacy Principal Dr. T.M. Pramod Kumar.

While JSS Medical College Principal Dr. H. Basavana Gowdappa will be the chief guest, Dean-Research of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, Dr. Prashanth Vishwanath will be the guest of honour.

About 25 resource persons from across the country and over 750 delegates will participate.

The three-day conference will feature scientific sessions, workshops, career talks, panel discussions (Manthan), science film, oral and poster presentations, to provide a platform to young minds to interact and build network with delegates and resource persons across the country and explore the possibilities of collaboration to build their research potential.

Research Co-ordinator Dr. B.R. Prashantha Kumar, Conference Vice-Chairperson Deeksha and Organising Secretary P.R. Hemanth Vikram were present at the press meet.
