Mysuru: Mysuru is set to host a unique exhibition celebrating centuries of history, human values and inspirational lives through the Holy Relics Expo-2026 at St. Theresa’s Church on Manandavadi Road, Ashokapuram, Mysuru South, from Sept. 12 to 14. The expo will remain open to visitors from 7 am to 7 pm on all three days.
Being organised as part of the Year of Faith-2026 announced by the Diocese of Mysuru, the event will feature the exposition of Holy Relics associated with nearly 2,000 saints, making it a rare opportunity for visitors to explore an extraordinary collection connected with individuals whose lives have inspired generations across the world.
The three-day expo will offer the public an opportunity to learn about the remarkable journeys of saints and historical personalities known for their contributions to humanity through service, sacrifice, education, healthcare and care for the underprivileged.
Special Masses will also be celebrated in different languages to enable wider participation, with services scheduled in Tamil at 6.15 am and Kannada at 8.15 am and 6 pm on all three days.
The inaugural Mass will be celebrated on Sept. 12 by the Bishop of Mysuru, Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao, SJ, at St. Theresa’s Church in city at 6 pm. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. John Sagaya Pushpa Raj, Resident Priest Rev. Fr. A. Jerome, Sisters of St. Mary’s Convent, Sisters of CKC Convent, Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy Convent, Sisters of Stuthiramya Convent and parishioners will grace the occasion.
