Mysuru:  As part of the Ugadi festival, District Administration has organised ‘Ugadi Sangeethotsava-2019’ at Mysore Palace premises from Apr.6 to 8.

The programme will commence at 6 pm on Apr.6 with Palace priests chanting ‘Panchanga Shravana’ followed by distribution of ‘Bevu-Bella’.

H.L. Shivashankar Swamy and troupe will present ‘Geetha Lahari’ featuring fusion music with classical film songs from 7pm.

On Apr.7, Lakshmi Nagaraj and Indu Nagaraj will present ‘Sangeetha Sambhrama’ at 7pm.

On Apr.8 at 7pm Sitar Maestro Vishwamohan Bhat and violinist Dr. Mysuru Manjunath will present a ‘Jugalbandhi’.

Sound and light show suspended: To prepare for ‘Ugadi Sangeethotsava’ the sound and light show will be suspended from Apr.4 to 9 at Mysore Palace premises which will be resumed from Apr.10.
