October 17, 2026

Mysuru: As part of Dasara, a four-day drone show will be held at Bannimantap Parade Grounds on Oct. 17, 18, 20 and 21.

Organised by the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) under the ‘Dasara Deepalankara’ programme, the show aims to set a Guinness World Record with 3,500 drones creating a series of aerial formations, including a peacock, India’s national bird.

The display will feature images of the Nandi statue on Chamundi Hill, butterflies, peacocks, Vishnu’s Chakra, pigeons, polar bears and several other designs lighting up the night sky.

Ticket and pass holders have been asked to enter the Parade Grounds by 5 pm, as the show will begin at 7 pm. With large crowds expected, organisers have advised visitors to arrive early to avoid congestion.
