Mysore/Mysuru: The 3rd District Convention of Lions Clubs International, District 317G, will be held on Apr. 5 at Hotel Amaravati in Mandya.

Addressing media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavana in the city, Lions District Governor K.L. Rajashekara said, High Court Justice E.S. Indiresh, will participate as the chief guest. Lion N. Mohan Kumar, Multiple Council Chairman, MD 317 will be the guest of honour.

Lions members, leaders and dignitaries from across the district will participate in the event.

The theme of the convention is “Empowering Communities, Empowering Change”. The event aims to celebrate service excellence, encourage leadership development and strengthen spirit of volunteerism among members.

The convention will host a series of insightful keynote addresses, interactive panel discussions, leadership sessions, and service-oriented workshops, designed to motivate members and equip them with innovative ideas to enhance their service initiatives.

The convention will be guided by eminent advisors including IPMCC Lion Dr. N. Krishnegowda, PMJF and Past District Governor Lion G.A. Ramesh, PMJF, Vice District Governors Lion S. Mathidevkumar and Lion T. Narayanaswamy, District Cabinet Secretary Lion T.H. Venkatesh, District Cabinet Treasurer Lion K.S. Sunil Kumar, District Ambassador Lion K.D. Kariappa Convention Coordinator and  Lion M.V. Nandish. The Convention’s Host Committee is chaired by Lion Jayakumar, PMJF.
