40-day theatre training camp for women from Jan.1

City’s theatre group ‘Sanchalana Mysuru’ will be conducting a 40-day free theatre training workshop for women, from Jan.1, 2021 to Feb.10, 2021. Noted theatre personalities and resource persons from across the State will be part of the camp. A host of theatre related topics such as history of theatre, Indian and Western theatre traditions, language and theatre, theatre music, actor and acting, dialogues, samara kale and others will be taken up and discussed during the 40-day theatre training workshop. The main objective of the camp is to create awareness on the need for making the society active and responsive.

The camp will be held at Kalamandira premises between 4 pm and 7 pm on all days. Entry is free. Only 30 women will be admitted to the camp and early applicants will be given first priority. The camp will be conducted in accordance with COVID-19 protocol guidelines issued by the Government. For details, call Mob: 98450-75762.
