45 pairs wrestle to win the bouts

Mysore/Mysuru: Traditional wrestling bouts, one of the main attractions during Dasara, saw 45 pairs wrestle to win the bouts at D. Devaraj Urs Multipurpose Stadium in Doddakere Maidan here yesterday.

The wrestlers used their skills and techniques to pin their opponents down to win the matches. The winners are as follows:

Pailwan Ravi of Ashokapuram lost to Pailwan Tejas of Ganjam; Pailwan Rajendra Kumar of Kamanakerehundi lost to Pailwan Arun of Kadakola; Pailwan Naga of Kanakapura lost to Pailwan Mahesh Dhom of Goluru; Pailwan Pramod of Mellahalli won against Pailwan Satish of Hullahalli; Pailwan M. Mahadevaswamy of Kalale won against Pailwan R. Yuvaraj of Naganahalli; Pailwan Mahadevaswamy of Kalale won against Pailwan Chinnu of Mellahalli; Pailwan Kemparaju of Kadakola won against Pailwan Chamarajanayaka of Hullahalli; Pailwan Yashavanthanayaka of Bannur won against Pailwan Nagaraju of Ayarahalli and Pailwan M. Chiranth of Paduvarahalli won against Pailwan Lochan Gowda of Kushalaiahna Garadi. Most of the other bouts ended in a draw.
