Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka Ganakala Parishat has organised 54th Senior Music Scholars and 36th Young Music Scholars Conference at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kala Vedike in Kuvempunagar from Nov. 5 to 9.

Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city recently, Parishat President Dr. R.K. Padmanabh said that Dr. C.A. Sridhar and Vid. Mattur R. Srinidhi will preside over Senior Music Scholars and Young Music Scholars Conference respectively.

Senior writer Dr. Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj will inaugurate the conference at 10.30 am tomorrow, he said and added that there will be music concerts every day from 10 am to 10 pm during the 5-day conference.

At the valedictory on Nov. 9, retd. High Court Judge K.N. Phaneendra and Vani Vidyakendra Trustee R.H. Sharada Prasad will be the chief guests.

Ganabharathi Secretary Ravishankar and Music Scholar Manasa Nayana were present at the press meet.
