5-day training programme for MSMEs from Dec.19

December 11, 2017

Mysuru: A five-day training programme for MSME (The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) Capacity Building under ZED (Zero Effect Zero Defect)  Certification Scheme of Ministry of MME, is being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Mysuru from Dec.19 to Dec.23.

The objective of this training programme is to familiarise the MSME industry, especially in the backward areas.

This ZED Certification Scheme is an extensive drive by the Government of India to enhance global competitiveness of MSMEs by providing them financial support in assessment, rating and handholding of its manufacturing processes on Quality and Environment aspects. CII has entered into an MoU with Quality Council of India (QCI) to conduct training programmes under the ZED scheme of the Ministry of MSME.

The Scheme is based on the ZED Maturity Model that requires MSME to demonstrate their technical and resource capability on 50 parameters that would enable them to reach world class capabilities in a structured graduation programme of assessment, consulting, re-assessment. Each stage is supported by substantial cost subsidy by the government of India. Units would be given recognition by the Government of India based on their maturity levels that would be assessed by a team of qualified assessors.

The technical content of the programme would include fundamental guidance on various quality, production, environmental and energy related tolls and techniques that can be easily adopted by MSMEs.

Unit Heads of MSMEs or Quality/ Production Heads would benefit immensely by attending this programme that would be delivered by eminent technical professionals.

There will be no participation fees and participants will be awarded certificates. For registration contact via email: [email protected], [email protected]  or call Mob: 98880813811. For more details visit: www.zed.org.in.
