50 mixer grinders given to Mahouts, Kavadis

Mysore/Mysuru: Cycle Pure Agarbathi, the platinum sponsor of Mysuru Dasara, has gifted 50 mixer grinders to Mahouts and Kavadis, extending gratitude to the often-overlooked heroes of Dasara.

This act not only enhances the festive spirit but also recognises the invaluable contribution of these Mahouts in ensuring that the elephants are an integral part of the festivities.

Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) Saurabh Kumar, R. Guru, Arjun Ranga, Pavan Ranga, Kiran Ranga, Anirudh Ranga, Vishnu Ranga and Nikhil Ranga, the Managing Partners at N. Ranga Rao and Sons.

During conversations with Mahouts, they expressed a desire for mixer grinders. In a meaningful gesture, Cycle Pure Agarbathi decided to honour these unsung heroes by fulfilling their wishes and gifting them with these essential appliances.

Speaking on this occasion,  R. Guru, Chairman of N.R. Foundation, said: “Cycle Pure Agarbathi has been a household name. Growing up in Mysuru, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing Dasara grandeur and this year we celebrate our 75th anniversary. This is a better way to mark this milestone than by showing our gratitude to the elephant handlers.”
