Mysore/Mysuru: To commemorate 50 years of renaming the State as ‘Karnataka,’ several programmes are being organised throughout the year under “Karnataka Sambhrama-50: Hesaragali Karnataka Usiragali Kannada” by the Department of Kannada and Culture. Logos which represent Kannada Land, Language and Culture, have been invited from the general public.
The Kannada and Culture Department intends to celebrate the event in a special way by organising various colourful and meaningful programmes. To elevate the enthusiasm of the people of the State, the Department has decided to use a logo which projects ‘Karnataka- Kannada Language- its Culture’.
In this light, the Department has invited attractive and relevant logos from the general public. A cash prize of Rs. 25,000 will be given for the selected logo.
The logo should be submitted before Sept.30. Those interested can visit website (https://www.kannadasiri.karnataka.gov.in) for more information, according to a press release from the Director of Kannada and Culture Department.
