Mysuru: A total of 54 achievers in various fields including Dr. Bellipadi Satish Rai and Star of Mysore Chief Reporter S.T. Ravikumar received the District Rajyotsava Award at a function organised at Kalamandira here yesterday.

The list of awardees also included journalist Koodli Gururaj, photojournalist Anurag Basavaraj, Kannada activists M. Chandrashekar, Siddalingappa, Madhumathi,  Ranganath Mysuru, Champa Shivanna (literature), Kiragasuru Rachappa and Ramachandra of Rajeshwari Vastralankara and Javarashetty (theatre), Hari Hara Anandaswany, Sommaiah Maleyuru (organisation), Rayanahundi Marigowda (folklore), Y.N. Shankaregowda (natural farming), G.L.N. Ayya and T. Venkatachalaiah (freedom fighters),  Ayub Ahmed, B.R. Natraj Jois, Rajendra (social service), Malini (harikathe), Mike Chandru (publicity), Palahalli Nataraj, Hendrick (Kannada development), Sridhar Jain (fine arts) and Odanadi (NGO).
