9th Kalemane Fest on May 29

Mysore/Mysuru: Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru, has organised 9th Nirantara Kalemane Festival on May 29 at 4.30 pm at Kalemane Sabhaangana in Hebbal.

Art & Music Critic Dr. Rama V. Bennur, President, Ganabharathi, Raghavendra, Connoisseur, Ancient History & Archaeology and Cultural, Vidushi A.S. Lalitha and Vidushi A.S. Kanchanamala, Director, Nrithya Sampada, Mysuru, will be the chief guests of the evening.

The programme will begin with Kuchipudi performance by internationally-acclaimed Kuchipudi Dancer Dr. Ardhanareeswaram Venkat with his children and disciples Rithwik Venkat and Rinda Venkat. This will be followed by Bharatanatyam performances by the students of ‘Nrithya Vidya Peetha’ Guru Vidushi C.N. Anitha and disciples of Vid. B.R. Nandakishore & Vidu. Sindhu Somesh, Director, Shree Bharathi Nrityalaya Trust, Bengaluru.
