KSPCB bans PoP Ganesha idols

Mysuru:  The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has asked the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to take action well in advance to ensure zero production of Plaster of Paris (PoP) Ganesha idols. KSPCB Chairman Lakshman said that during the Ganesha festival, immersion of PoP idols in water bodies across the State is prohibited.
