Devamma (90), a resident of Kuppegala in the taluk, passed away due to age-related ailments yesterday.

She leaves behind a son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. She was the sister-in-law of late Chamaraja MLA    Kempeeregowda and an aunt of former MyMUL President K. Umashankar.

Last rites were performed at her native village Kuppegala  this afternoon, according to family sources.
