Mysuru: A five-day workshop on ‘Capacity Building for Women Managers in Higher Education,’ organised by Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) will be held at the seminar hall in the college premises from June 4. The workshop will commence from 9.30 am.

Regional Commissioner P. Hemalatha, will be the chief guest. SJCE Principal Dr. T.N. Nagabhushan and JSS S&T University Registrar Dr. K.S. Lokesh, will be the guests of honour. JSS S&T University VC Prof. B.G. Sangameshwara will preside. The workshop is designed to deliberate on the role of women academicians in the higher education ecosystem with the objective of empowering them to rise to decision-making positions and become sensitive to the situation of women in the system and factors that have limited their presence in leadership roles.
