KSRTC bus fatally knocks down motorcyclist

Mysuru: A bike rider was killed on-the-spot when the motorcycle he was riding (KA-45 Y-7119) was knocked down from behind by a KSRTC bus (KA-11 F-0421) near Hullenahalli on Mysuru-Hunsur Road this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Devarajachari (28), son of Nanjappachari of Madhugiri Koppalu in Hunsur taluk.

Devu, who is said to be an employee of Triton Valves in city, was on way to work when the accident took place at about 8.20 am. Traffic on the busy Mysuru-Hunsur Road was      disrupted for some time due to the mishap.

Bilikere Police have registered a case in this regard.
