Mysuru:  A teacher of a Government School in Hinkal was killed on the spot when a tractor ran over her near Hinkal on Monday afternoon.

The deceased teacher has been identified as Pushpa (55), a Physical Education teacher serving at Hinkal Government School here.

On Monday afternoon, Pushpa, who had gone to her house in Hootagalli for lunch, was on her way back to the School on her scooter, when she lost balance and fell down. Meanwhile, a tractor which was coming from behind ran over her resulting in Pushpa being killed on the spot, according to V.V. Puram Traffic Police, who have registered a case in this regard.
