The students of Citizen Convent, Udayagiri, participated in the District-level School Sports and Games Championship (2018-19) conducted by the Department of Public Instruction, Mysuru, on July 28 and won prize in the Wrestling contest.

Following are the students who excelled at the District-level Championship: Under-14 (Girls): Syeda Aqsa (38) – 2nd prize, Bi-Bi Javeriya (41) – 2nd, Akheeb Banu (41) – 3rd and Falkiya Kousar (38) – 3rd; U-17 (Girls): Firdouse Banu (38) – 1st; U-14 (Girls): Noor Sameera Querashi (44) and Saba (52); U- 17 (Girls): Tafseen Aiman (47), Saniya Firdouse     (70), Tanziya Kousar (52), Saniya Taj (46); U-14 (Boys): Mohammed  Saif (49) -1st, Yaseen Ansari (60) – 1st, Syed Rayaan (60) – 2nd, Syed Heshaan (45) – 2nd, Syed Rehman (38) – 3rd, Ismail Ahmed (38) – 3rd and Mohammed Inzamulla (45) – 3rd; U-17 (Boys): Mohammed Nasrulla (76) – 1st, Syed Ayaan (54) – 2nd, Shorook Pasha (42) – 2nd; U-17 (Boys): Shafath Ansari (85).

Students, who have bagged 1st prize in the Championship, have got selected to the State-level Wrestling Competition which is going to be conducted soon at Ramanagaram.
