Bike-lifter held during check

Mysuru: K.R. Traffic Police, who were conducting a routine check near the Gun House, have caught a bike-lifter along with the stolen bike yesterday. The arrested has been identified as 19-year-old Shahid, a resident of Bannimantap 2nd stage in city.

Yesterday, the K.R. Traffic Police, while conducting checking for traffic violators, found the youth riding a KTM Duke bike without the registration plate and stopped him. On enquiry, the Cops found that the youth did not process the valid documents of the bike. When the Police interrogated him on doubt, they came to know that the bike was stolen and on further questioning, the youth is said to have confessed of stealing the KTM Duke bike and also a Yamaha RX 135 bike in city.

Following the confession of the crime, the Traffic Police have transferred the case to K.R. Police Station.
