Trivandrum National U-18 Junior Tennis: City’s Arnav enters quarter-finals

Trivandrum: Mysuru lad Arnav Pathange representing Karnataka and taking part in the National U-18 Junior Tennis Championship at Trivandrum entered the quarter-finals in the Junior Boys Singles event yesterday.

Arnav Pathange beat Kerala’s G.S. Sanjay 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 to enter the last eight stage of the tourney. In the second round, Arnav beat Maharashtra’s Anup Mahadev 6-2, 6-2 and in the first round beat Nithin Adithya 6-0, 6-1 to forge ahead.
