Mysuru:  The women Table Tennis team of National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, won three titles in the last week of August.

The team, comprising Captain Pratibha Teotia, Deepanjali M. Kajagar, T. Bhavana, Sushmitha and Sai Sanjay Ayachit, won the Mysuru City Intercollegiate Tournaments’ Table Tennis title on Aug.23 at University of Mysore Sports Pavilion organised by Onkarmal Somani Institute of Education; On Aug.27, it won the VTU Intercollegiate Mysuru Zone title and on Aug.30, won the Maharani’s College Mysuru City Intercollegiate title making it a ‘Hat-trick’ of titles.

The students of Vijaya Vittala PU College — Srinandini, D.C. Swathi and Sushmitha Murthy — have secured second prize in the District-level Table Tennis Tournament for Girls organised by the Department of PU Education, Mysuru, at Seshadripuram PU College recently.
