Mysuru: An incident of a cook suffering heart attack and breathing his last on the road was reported near Sangam Theatre here last evening.

The deceased has been identified as Shankar (50), a native of Gundlupet and was working as a cook at a hotel in city.

Yesterday evening, Shankar was walking on the road behind Sangam Theatre to go to work, when he suffered from cardiac arrest, collapsed on the spot and died, according to the Police.

A case has been registered at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.
