Plea for city bus service

November 14, 2018

Sir,

This is a repeated plea for improving the city bus service in the Bank Employees Colony off the Ring Road. Presently, only one bus 69C (Market to Bapujinagar) is plying in this area and that too in every one or one-and-a-half-hour gap. During holidays the bus is hardly seen.

The other means of transport in this place is very poor.

One more route that comes upto the Ring Road could be diverted through this area where all the common people, school and college going children living in Bank Colony, Railway Colony and Bapuji Layout could benefit.

Once the buses start coming every half-hour, people will surely wait for the bus !

One need not say that lack of commuters is  the reason for the scarce bus service in this area.

I request the KSRTC City Division authorities to look into this matter immediately.
