Awareness rally marks Ayurveda Day

Mysuru: Marking the 3rd National Ayurveda Day, an awareness rally with the theme ‘Role of Ayurveda in public health’ was  organised jointly by Government Ayurveda Medical College and Department of AYUSH in city recently.

About 200 students, faculty and staff of Government Ayurveda Medical College took out the rally from the College premises through Railway Station Circle, Metropole Circle and Hunsur Road to culminate at ‘Chandravana’ near Kukkarahalli Lake. The rallyists carried placards with meaningful messages on benefits of ayurveda.

The rally was flagged off by Journalist Amshi Prasannakumar. College Principal Dr. Gajanana Hegde, Doctors  Rajendra, Mythri, Uma Shankar, Adarsh, Sanjay and others were present.
