Lectures to mark Constitution Day

Mysuru: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre, University of Mysore (UoM), People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), Mysuru Unit and Gotami Foundation, Mandya, have jointly organised two special lectures at Dr. Ambedkar Centre premises in Manasagangothri tomorrow (Nov.26) at 4 pm in commemoration of Indian Constitution Day.

While legal expert Prof. CKN Raja speaks on ‘Making of Indian Constitution,’ Visiting Professor of N. Rachaiah Study Chair of Mysore University Prof. H.M. Rajashekar will speak on ‘Protecting Indian Constitution and Citizens.’

PUCL Mysuru President Prof. Panditaradhya will preside.

Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysuru, has also organised a programme to mark Constitution Day on Nov.27 at 10 am.

VII Additional District and Sessions Judge P. Chandrashekaraiah will be the chief guest. Vidyavardhaka Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana will preside, according to a press release from the College.
