School children taking part in the 14th Diocesan-level Carol Singing Competition organised by The Catholic Association of Mysore at St. Philomena’s High School auditorium in city this morning.

The competition was held for High School and College students, Parishes, Religious Institutions and Professionals in five categories and carols were sung in Kannada, English and other regional languages. Children who have secured 90 per cent and above in the 2017-18 SSLC exam will be feted later in the day.

Earlier, Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Cathedral Rev. Fr. N.T. Joseph and MLC Ivan D’Souza, inaugurated the competition in the presence of other dignitaries.
