Human Rights Day events on Dec. 10

As part of Human Rights Day celebrations, Human Rights Service Centre, Narayana Shastry Road, has organised various events including legal awareness — assistance programme, job mela, free health check-up camp, felicitation to farmers – soldiers and presentation of ‘Manava Rathna’ awards to dignitaries at Rangacharlu Memorial Town Hall here on Dec.10 (Monday) at 10.30 am. Sri Illai Alwar Swamiji of Vangipura Mutt will grace the occasion. Chandrashekar Hunagund, retired Sessions Judge and Member of Karnataka State Human Rights Commission, will inaugurate the programme.
