The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Kannada to S. Mohan Kumar for his thesis titled “Epathoandne shatamanada sanna kathegallu (2001 to 2010 prathinidika katha sankalanagalu” submitted under the guidance of Dr. T. Jayalakshmi

R. Mahesh has been awarded Ph.D in Folklore by the UoM for his thesis titled “Chamarajanagara Jilleya Budakattu Janapada” [Guide: Dr. T. Jayalakshmi (Seethapura)].
