Mysuru: The Mysuru Chapter of Cardiology Society of India will be celebrating World Women’s Heart Day on Feb.17 and as part of it, several contests will be organised at J.K. Grounds here tomorrow.

The contests include a spot painting competition for children of fifth to seventh standards.

An awareness march will be taken out from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Palace North Gate to J.K. Grounds at 7.30 am tomorrow, following which a public awareness programme on heart will take place at 10 am.

Also, the winners of the quiz contest on issues related to heart held for high school students at Colombia Asia Hospital and the winners of the culinary contest held for dieticians at Cauvery Hospital, will be presented prizes and renowned lady doctors of the city will be felicitated on the occasion.

A book titled ‘Arogya Aadare Ruchi’ will also be released on the occasion.

Zilla Panchayat (ZP) CEO Jyothi and well-known Doctor Dr. Vijayalakshmi will be the chief guests, according to a release.
