Visually impaired students bag prize in cultural contests

Mysuru: Two visually impaired students of Department of Cardio-ankle Vascular Index (CAVI), JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled, Mysuru, have won prizes in two different cultural events held recently.

H.N. Shalini has won third prize and N. Jayasheela consolation prize in the Inter-Polytechnic Bhavageethe competition held in memory of late P. Muniyappa by CPC (Govt.) Polytechnic Alumni Association.

In the another event, Jayasheela won first prize in classical competition while Shalini and group won second prize in group song competition held at Suttur Jathra Mahotsava.
