South Zone with some inspiring performances by Abirath Reddy (85), Mysuru lads M. Venkatesh (44) and K. Shashank (four for 24), registered a facile 66-run win over West Zone in the one-day Vizzy Trophy tie played at the Scindia School Cricket Ground, Gwalior, yesterday.

SCORES — South Zone: 266 for 9 in 50 overs (Abhirath Reddy 85, M. Venkatesh 44, Pragnay Reddy 27, Uav Varma 29, Aditya Somanna 20, A.J. Tandel 4 for 49, Rushikesh Jadhav 2 for 62) bt West Zone: 200 in 43.4 overs (M.I. Sayyed 66, Rushikesh Jadhav 30, Ankit B. Patel 22, A.J. Tandel 21, K. Shashank 4 for 24, Uav Varma 3 for 4).
