Mysuru: Opposing the proposal of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) to form Ballahalli Layout, members of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) – Kodihalli Chandrashekar faction and Hasiru Sene took out a protest rally from Gandhiji’s bust in front of City Law Courts Complex to MUDA office.

The farmers alleged that the land to be acquired by MUDA was very fertile. They also pointed out that the amendment of Land Acquisition Act was detrimental to farmers.

KRRS faction State Secretary Guruprasad led the rally which also had a few bullock carts and cattle.
