Silk festival & Crafts expo at JSS Urban Haat

Ugadi is round the corner. It is a season of festivities and a season of joy. To add more joy to the season, JSS Urban Haat  is holding a silk festival and crafts exhibition between Mar. 22 and Mar. 31 at its premises, # Plot No. 432, Ring Road, Hebbal  Industrial Area, Mysuru.

The exhibition is open to public between 10 am and 9 pm daily.

The exhibition showcases exclusive range of silk from Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujarat, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Not just that, there is also a range of Khadi sarees and dresses. A must have in the wardrobe for the sultry summer.

The sarees and dresses on display are the art work of select craftsmen of India and the exhibition showcases the fine craftsmanship of Indian clothing.

Kala Vaibhava art exhibition showcases some of the finest articrafts from select artisans across the country. An excellent platform for shopping enthusiasts to explore the world of hand crafted articles.

In addition, a large section of clay decorative lamps, small lanterns, goddesses, decorative objects, Buddha, Ganapati, elephant made of clay, clay horses are on display.

The exhibition also has a large section of bamboo and cane artefacts. There is a collection of vases, swords, lamp holders, mobile stands, flower baskets and bamboo ornaments.

There are over 100 stores in the fair, including grocery stores, snacks, cuisine stalls, various jewellery stores, leather shoes, comfortable and luxurious furniture,  jute bags, toys and wooden carvings in the exhibition.
