Discusses coalition status in Mysuru-Kodagu LS Constituency

Mysuru: Congress- JD(S) coalition candidate for Mysuru-Kodagu LS Constituency, C.H. Vijayashankar called on former PM and JD(S) Supremo H.D. Deve Gowda on Sunday at the latter’s Padmanabhanagar residence in Bengaluru and discussed the current coalition status with him.

For about half-an-hour, they exchanged their views regarding campaign strategies and other related issues. Vijayashankar, inviting the former PM to join the poll campaign in his Constituency, also urged him to instruct JD(S) leaders and party workers to actively involve and coordinate with the Congress workers during the campaign.

In reply, Deve Gowda said that on Apr.8 he would visit Mysuru-Kodagu Constituency for campaigning along with Coordination Committee Chief Siddharamaiah and Ministers S.R. Mahesh, G.T. Devegowda and other leaders.
