Mysuru: In a reported incident, a 24-year-old pregnant woman from Chinakurali died enroute while being shifted to Cheluvamba Hospital yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Lakshmidevi, wife of Hemanth of Gunje in Holenarasipur taluk. Lakshmidevi was staying  at her native place Chinakurali in Pandavapura taluk since few days.

She complained of labour pain yesterday and was being rushed in an ambulance to Cheluvamba Hospital where she died enroute to the hospital, it is learnt.

Pandavapura Police have registered a case in this regard.
