Tipper driver arrested, sand seized

Mysuru:  K.R. Nagar Police have arrested the driver of a tipper who was transporting sand illegally and have seized about 25-30 loads of sand which he had illegally stocked.

The arrested is Sharath of Kanagalu village in Periyapatna taluk.

Sharath had lifted sand from Cauvery River and stocked the same in the field of one Prakash.

On Apr.2, Sharath had loaded the tipper (KA-12 B-0078) with sand and was transporting it when the Police raided and arrested him. A case has been registered at K.R. Nagar Police Station in this regard.
