Mysuru: The Civil Engineering Department of Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore (MITM) had organised a State-level Semi-Technical Inter-College Civil Engineering Fest ‘aMITotsava 2K19,’ focusing mainly on the Colleges located in and around Mysuru Zone, on May 8 at the premises of the College.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. B.G. Naresh Kumar, Principal, MITM, Dr. C. Ramakrishnegowda, Head of Civil Engineering, M.S. Sunil Kumar, faculty of JSS Technological University and A.M. Aniruddha, Coordinator, aMITotsava 2K19.
The Fest was powered by MITM’s FORCE (Forum of Civil Engineering), Premier CAD, RAMCO, Karthik Constructions, Kalpashree Farms and Jagadeesh & Family (KRS).
The fest witnessed 141 participants from various Engineering Colleges competing for titles in six events, for which, a prize amount of over Rs.12,000 was on offer. Apart from cash prize, trophies, medals and certificates were given to the winners and runners. Also, all the participants were given the participation certificate.
